A community-led organisation working for economic dignity in Pakistan.

Creating Economic Change (CEC) is a non-profit organisation based in Multan, Punjab. We work alongside families, women, young people and small-holder farmers to build stable livelihoods, inclusive learning, better health and climate resilience.

Our story

Rooted in Multan. Built with communities.

Creating Economic Change was formed by a group of development practitioners committed to the belief that economic dignity is possible for every household — regardless of geography, income or gender.

We started with a simple method: sit with communities, listen carefully, and build programs together. Over time, that method has grown into an integrated body of work across livelihoods, education, health, climate and youth engagement.

We remain a small, focused organisation — and that's deliberate. It lets us stay close to the field, honest about what works, and accountable to the people we serve.

Mission

To create pathways out of poverty by strengthening livelihoods, protecting the vulnerable, and enabling communities to lead their own development.

A Pakistan where every household — regardless of geography or gender — can live with dignity, opportunity and resilience.
